
Voicemail User Guide
This guide is designed to help you get started with your Etrium Connect voicemail system. Whether you are at your desk or calling from another phone, managing your messages is simple and secure.
🏗️ First Time Setup
The first time you access your voicemail, the system will prompt you to set up your mailbox.
- Press 📩, voicemail softkey or *Dial 97 from your desk phone or softphone.
- Enter your default password 1234#
- Follow the prompts to record your name.
- Record your greeting (this is what callers will hear).
- Change your PIN to a secure, 4-digit number of your choice.
📞 Accessing Your Voicemail
From Your Own Phone
To check messages at your desk:
- *Dial 97.
- Enter your PIN followed by #.
From Any Other Internal Phone
To check your messages from a coworker's desk or a common area:
- *Dial 98.
- Enter your Extension Number.
- Enter your PIN followed by #.
📧 Voicemail-to-Email
Every time a message is left, you will receive an email notification automatically.
- The email contains the caller’s ID, the date/time, and an audio file (.wav).
- You can listen to the message directly from your computer or smartphone without needing to dial in.

💡 Pro-Tips
- Remote Access: If you are calling from outside the office, dial your direct number. When your voicemail greeting starts, press * to "break-in," then enter your PIN to access the menu.
- Security: Avoid using simple PINs like 1234 or your extension number.
